At least a few folks on the Wagoneer forum states this method worked. Drove home in Nav mode for almost 20 minutes and no rebooting or glitches. It was maybe a little less than :30 minutes to update.
I didn’t want to sit in the heat of my garage so ended up driving to a spot and starting the update there running the engine during the update to keep cool. Put it in with ignition off and it should recognized there is a map update and will begin updating after confirming. As some may not be able to get maps OTA like me, head over to /#/downloads and download the 5 map files (for North America) to a standard USB Thumb drive. No fix on offer, It’s on the latest software version but tech was unaware of the latest maps on the Stellantis site. Click on the price button to get more information on your update. We took ours in to dealer today and same results as others. Once signed-in, click on e-Store > Map & Software Updates. Latest version found in the Stellantis Nav site is 2023.06. We are on the latest UConnect: FCA-MY23.T25.50-PROD but our maps are North America 2021.09.008.28…. I was following a similar thread over on the Wagoneer forum and it sounds like getting on the latest UConnect version AND updating the maps does the trick for the TomTom Nav reboots/crashes/glitches.
